MALHOTRA SISTERS GET BACK IN THE GROOVE WITH VIRTUAL SHOWS

- HTC

Singers Mehak and Mallica Malhotra are eager to resume work as Unlock 2.0 sets in. “After a good three months of being home, we finally started doing virtual live shows for many of our clients. We look forward to be back to normal,” says Mehak. Getting back to business has indeed been a welcome change for the sisters. “It feels great to dress up for our show and interact with our audience,” shares Mallica.

However, the duo didn’t let the lockdown hamper their music, and their social media pages are a proof of that.

“We are artistes. We have talent that keeps us alive. Our new song, Surma, launched during the lockdown (May 4), so it was enough to keep us busy for two weeks,” says Mehak, adding that the past few months have been a great learning experience.

“We never thought such a situation will ever arise,” adds Mallica, while revealing that this period helped the sisters strengthen their bond and spend time with family.

The sister duo also got time to hone their culinary skills during this time. “We learnt cooking from the greatest chef we know — our mother, Neelam Malhotra,” says Mehak.
