He had said in the assembly that legal action will be taken against the black laws. Surprisingly, the advocate general with a large army of lawyers, did nothing.

BHAGWANT MANN, AAP

CHANDIGARH : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state chief and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann on Friday said the failure of Punjab government i n sending the unanimously passed agriculture laws in the state assembly to the President of India was a result of the collusion between chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh and the Punjab governor, who were acting at the behest of the BJP government.

This has exposed the CM’s conspiracy to mislead the people of Punjab about these laws as he is acting on the commands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah, Mann said in a statement issued here.

“The Punjab chief minister is in collusion with the BJP and they have been misleading the farmers of Punjab against the Centre’s farm laws, which according to the farmers were death warrants and they have been holding protests at Delhi border for over a month,” Mann said.

He said the Captain-led state government had pretended to make law by convening a special session of the state assembly, but these were not forwarded for approval as the CM was never concerned for the farmers of Punjab.

“Amarinder had said in the assembly that legal action would be taken against the black laws of the Centre. He had spoken to the advocate general of Punjab in this regard. Surprisingly, the AG, who has such a large army of lawyers, did nothing,” alleged Mann.
