The long-standing dream to inaugurate a temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram finally came true on January 22. The consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir in the vibrant city of Ayodhya garnered attention from across the country and beyond. As the highly anticipated event approached, businesses across various industries began to set their sights on the enchanting temple town. From real estate developers and hoteliers to airline companies and leading corporate houses, all were drawn to the town’s potential for growth. Despite having been off the radar just a few years ago, the temple town now presents an exciting opportunity for investors to tap into its burgeoning market and establish a foothold in the area.
AYODHYA RAM MANDIR SEES AROUND 1.5 LAKH PILGRIMS DAILY
The consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya took place on January 22 in a ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The auspicious event was attended by thousands of VVIPs, including politicians, cricketers, industrialists, spiritual leaders etc. More than 1.2 crore pilgrims have visited Ayodhya since temple inauguration. The government is working on a comprehensive 360-degree model to provide top-notch amenities for devotees, including clean drinking water, round-the-clock electricity, extensive network of toilets, robust public transportation, enhanced drainage, and river rejuvenation.
• On the construction front, the Ram Mandir complex is expected to be completed by December this year as per Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust.
• A member of the trust had earlier said that over 3,500 additional workers will be deployed soon to speed up the construction of the remaining two floors of the threestorey temple building.
• To provide a seamless experience for all, the temple trust has also facilitated provision of wheelchairs which are available in the Mandir for the elderly and differently-abled.
