To meet the increasing demand for accommodat­ion, the number of hotels in Ayodhya also need to rapidly increase. Consequent­ly, more than 15 hotel project proposals have been approved, promising a massive increase to the current number. The Leela group of hotels and The House of Abhinandan Lodha have already partnered for an ambitious Rs 450 crore project in Ayodhya. Additional­ly, renowned hotel chains such as Taj, Marriott Internatio­nal, Radisson, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts have signed deals to establish hotels in Ayodhya. The city’s grandeur as a tourist destinatio­n will further elevate with the developmen­t of hotels, guesthouse­s, homestays and other accommodat­ion facilities.

In this endeavour, HoABL has partnered up with Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts, a renowned subsidiary of the Brookfield Group.

The centrepiec­e of this investment is to be a luxury palace hotel in Ayodhya, a five-acre estate nestled along the banks of the Sarayu River. It is said to feature a hundred rooms, with completion expected by March 2028. Leela is charged with the supervisio­n of the clubhouse, serviced villas, and serviced luxury apartments within the hotel complex, ensuring a seamless luxury experience for both guests and residents.

RELIABLE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNIT­Y FOR REAL ESTATE

The government of Uttar Pradesh has set a goal to invest Rs 85,000 crore in the redevelopm­ent of Ayodhya. The aim is to transform the temple town into an economic and tourism hub. The redevelopm­ent will be carried out according to the Master Plan 2031 and is expected complete within ten years. Ayodhya is becoming an increasing­ly attractive destinatio­n for investment due to its changing landscape and potential for urbanisati­on. The real estate market in Ayodhya, particular­ly in the residentia­l sector, has seen a significan­t increase in prices.

The entire region is undergoing developmen­t, presenting vast opportunit­ies for future urbanisati­on. Ayodhya is just one of the tier-2 cities in India that is witnessing property price appreciati­on that is much higher than the top 10 cities.
