To meet the increasing demand for accommodation, the number of hotels in Ayodhya also need to rapidly increase. Consequently, more than 15 hotel project proposals have been approved, promising a massive increase to the current number. The Leela group of hotels and The House of Abhinandan Lodha have already partnered for an ambitious Rs 450 crore project in Ayodhya. Additionally, renowned hotel chains such as Taj, Marriott International, Radisson, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts have signed deals to establish hotels in Ayodhya. The city’s grandeur as a tourist destination will further elevate with the development of hotels, guesthouses, homestays and other accommodation facilities.
In this endeavour, HoABL has partnered up with Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts, a renowned subsidiary of the Brookfield Group.
The centrepiece of this investment is to be a luxury palace hotel in Ayodhya, a five-acre estate nestled along the banks of the Sarayu River. It is said to feature a hundred rooms, with completion expected by March 2028. Leela is charged with the supervision of the clubhouse, serviced villas, and serviced luxury apartments within the hotel complex, ensuring a seamless luxury experience for both guests and residents.
RELIABLE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR REAL ESTATE
The government of Uttar Pradesh has set a goal to invest Rs 85,000 crore in the redevelopment of Ayodhya. The aim is to transform the temple town into an economic and tourism hub. The redevelopment will be carried out according to the Master Plan 2031 and is expected complete within ten years. Ayodhya is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for investment due to its changing landscape and potential for urbanisation.
