Actor turned politician and Bharatiya Janata Party’s candidate from Mandi Kangana Ranaut on her second day in the tourist town Manali said that the chief chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government was in bad condition.

“Look at the state government’s misdeeds in 18 months, they are fighting with each other and if elections kept happening time and again how will they run the government,” she said. She had organised ‘dham’ at Simsa village in Manali.

Taking about Congress she further said, “Friends these people will run a slander campaign against me but one should not get swayed by what they say. They said that I had eaten beef, I asked for proof, but then they stated we don’t have anything to do with that..,” she said while addressing a public meeting in Simsi village close to her house in Manali.

“Congress government had stated that it would start ₹1,500 monthly pension for women, did you start that scheme? Congress promised to provide free medical facilities at the doorsteps through vans, no one saw these vans,” she added.

Targeting Vikramaditya Singh, she said “Vikram when I talk about work then you target me saying that I talk about wrong things and when I talk about other things then you say that I should talk straight, let me know what I should say,” she said.

Kangana who also visited Kullu said, “The spark of Sanatana Dharma, nationalism and battle against evil has been lit by PM Narendra Modi in our consciousness... We should not have any other identity of our own. We all are Narendra Modi.We will fight for him and his vision for development. When I joined the party, I said that from now on, I don’t have any other identity. I have one identity that’s BJP.”

Kangana should not forget that sitting Mandi MP is woman, says Vikramaditya

Hitting back at BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut, the public work minister Vikramaditya Singh said that he has high regard for her, but she should not forget that the Lok Sabha member from Mandi was a woman. “Kangana had claimed that it’s a time for women and we need to empower them, but she forgot that the sitting MP from Mandi is a woman whom people have sent to the parliament in tough and odd situations. We need to take on board all sections of society be it women, youth, ex-servicemen of the society..,” he added.“I respect her. We are fighting against the might of BJP so it does not matter who is their candidate,” he added.
