The on-going Furniture Lifestyle and Décor Fair at Indira Gandhi Pratisthan brings a variety of home furnishing, lifestyle, gardening, apparel, home appliances and innovative decorative items that to all under same roof.

Inaugurated by cabinet minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi on Saturday, the highlight of the fair is Simply Art stall by Manoj Vasandani from Mumbai. The innovative book-stack table is the biggest draw of all. The lively fountains which also emit smoke are attracting curious visitors and buyers. Just beside him is Akshay Interiors which offers a collection of gunmetal and brass furniture. Another interesting stall is AP Metal from Visakhapa-tnam that has a wide range of decorative brass ware. Bed-cummats-another innovative item too is selling like hotcakes. These foldable mats are washable and are ideal for both indoor and outdoor usage. This decorative section has biggest display besides apparels, gardening stuff and furniture items. Home appliances section too has some healthy options which include roti-maker, air fryers, steam cooking appliances and many more. Tripti Pahwa’s live painting stall too is a big hit.

Organiser Sunny Singh told HT City, “We have 62 stalls from all across the country and some of them have joined for the first time. We are keeping our fingers cross.” The exhibition will conclude on March 27.
