FIRST CATEGORY

HT Write Choice Award (Woman authors and poets): All those women from Uttar Pradesh who have carved a niche as a writer, fictional and non-non fictional, biographers and poets (any language) who have a book published in their name can send in their nominations. Also bloggers who have good number of followers and readership too are eligible for this category.

SECOND CATEGORY

HT Sadda Haqq Award (Contribution to women rights

and dignity): Courageous women who have shown praiseworthy act of bravery against domestic violence, direct or indirect physical or mental cruelty, child abuse, child marriage, sexual assault, molestation, dowry, eve teasing and other social evils prevailing in the society are eligible for this category.

THIRD CATEGORY

HT Animal Care Award: Women who go out of their way caring for animals-be it street dogs, bovine or birdscan send in their entries.

FOURTH CATEGORY

HT Ideator/Eureka Champs (Innovative contribution to society in new territory) Young women venturing into new territories with a mission and contributing to the society. It could be entrepreneurship, social media, science, electronics and other innovative streams. (Age 18 to 35 years.)

FIFTH CATEGORY

HT Khel-Khiladi Award (Adventure and sports) Women who are entering areas once dominated by men. Be it biking, stunt, horse riding, karate, wrestling, hockey, shooting and golf, where they are making all the difference. (Age minimum 16 years)

SIXTH CATEGORY

The Man Behind (Man behind successful woman) Any man behind a successful social activist or achiever. He could be her husband, brother, father or friend. In a first, HT has decided to also recognise his silent support to the woman in pursuing her service to the society .

SEVENTH CATEGORY

Lakhnavi Andaaz: Lucknow is a way of life, they say. Faithful here continue to be hooked to the fine mannerism it was once known for.

Eligibility : Promoting or preserving Lucknow’s culture, cuisine and heritage in any form. A woman who walks, talks, wears and carries the Lakhnavi andaaz with her.

EIGHTH CATEGORY

Purvanchal Tadka : The region of Purvanchal has its distinct identity. From Gorakhpur to Varanasi, we see diverse culture and traditions which are unified with a bond.

Eligibility: Any woman representing the tradition, art and culture of the region.

NINTH CATEGORY

Green and Clean Crusaders: Aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission, there is a lot of thrust on clean and green UP.

Eligibility: Any woman striving hard to keep the state clean and green as an individual or as a group/NGO.
