On a mythical run

T he Vishnu Chronicles: The Hunt For Rama’s Bow (Adventure One) by Suhail Mathur is a mythological thriller which takes the readers on adventure ride from North to South India. The story interestingly connects mythological era with today’s time. The plot of the book is a gripping combination of myth and fiction. The language used by the author is fairly easy except mythological terms may not be that very simple to grasp.

The readers will enjoy the book, with each chapter revealing a new twist but after a point of time the plot becomes slightly draggy. But still the author triumphs in maintaining the suspense till the end along with a well created climax.

About the book

As the legend has it that Jaya and Vijaya, Lord Vishnu’s palace guards, were cursed by the enraged Manasputras who ordained them to abandon Vaikuntha.
