Actor-comedian Sunil Grover (right) has stayed away from the limelight ever since his much- publicised fight with actor Kapil Sharma became the talk of the town. Meanwhile, he shot for a special episode to promote Salman Khan’s Tubelight and recently hosted an award show too. Though there was speculation that Sunil might come up with a brand new show, nothing concrete has come out yet.

Asked if he wishes to return to TV soon, Sunil, who quit The Kapil Sharma Show in April this year, says, “I don’t have the mindset to start a new show. I’m enjoying this phase. There’s no boredom in my life. Anything can entertain me. Earlier, when I was part of the show, I would shoot twice a week and would remain caught up. Now, I get time do many other things.”

Although the 40-year-old actor didn’t hint towards a possibility of reconciling with Kapil, he never leaves a chance to express his gratitude for the show that brought him recognition. “I got fame and love through that platform.

I’m happy there is still a bunch of people, who want to bring a smile on people’s faces. Unfortunately, now I’m not a part of those shows but I will, soon. That’s my work and that’s what I do to earn my livelihood.”

Sunil also adds that he has always focused on playing his part well and doesn’t care about the business aspect of a show. “Mere ko itni samajh nahi hai as to how things work. If I had the idea, I would have done 20 shows by now with a new show every week. I don’t understand how shows are made and the success formula behind it.”

He adds, “I want to do fresher things. I want to explore various characters. That’s what gives me happiness.”
