It’s about nothing!

- Vikas Bhandari

Well…If you’re reading this… you may be mulling what’s this Article about nothing!

Yes you read it right, the article is about nothing. You may also be wondering that till date I have been writing hilarious, gut bursting and razor sharp witty content once every seven days… but I guess I just couldn’t do it this week. So I’m just going to wing it this time and see what happens. Maybe you should just presume I couldn’t find anything interesting happening this week. Not even when a self styled Godman got jailed or city that never sleeps Mumbai got flooded… yet ...again.

That’s because these sort of things keep happening every now and then to Godmen and Mumbai of course doesn’t need a river to get flooded as just a few millimetres of rainfall is enough… enough for everyone to get a dedicated swimming pool to their backyard.

So, there you have it, an article on nothing. Yeah! nothing is actually what you have always thought it to be, well… nothing. It’s non existent and so has no form, no prospect of progress either; it’s of no value… or you could say the value of nothing is zero or nil, now, zilch.

Nothing is also stagnant and meaningless. Nothing is what the earth was before it was anything— formless and void. Nothing is also what some people like to do, after all it is so much easier not to do things than doing them. To go purely by facts, figures and percentages- it is about a 100% easier not to do things than having to do them. In fact, nothing is all I ever do on the weekends… and that’s why in the first place I have ended writing this article about nothing today, the day of my deadline for the Thursday article.

Writing this piece makes me believe that nothing is actually something (unless of course money wise you got nothing because maybe then you’ve a problem at hand!). After all if nothing wasn’t anything then I would not be writing about it nor would you be reading it!

Monty Python once said philosophically ‘We come from nothing and will return to nothing, so in the end what have we lost? — Nothing”. Well at least that’s something. And I hope that you learned a lot of nothing from this ;)
