Network expansion on a roll

Telenor India today announced an intra-circle roaming arrangement with Airtel in UP East. With this, eligible Telenor subscribers will be able to enjoy 3G services and a wider coverage of 4G services and high-speed Internet while on roaming within the circle.

To avail circle-wide coverage customers need to have a 3G/4G enabled handset, 4G SIM for 4G speed and a regular 2G SIM for 3G speed. Customers also need to put the Telenor SIM in slot 1 to enjoy better internet experience.

The brand has been, till now, offering 2G data services in the circle and 4G services through innovative narrow band LTE technology in 9 towns of UP East. With this extended network, customers will now be able to access affordable high-speed data in nearly 2000 additional towns and villages of UP East, said KC Narendran, Circle Business Head –UP East.
