Amruta to make her web series debut next year

W hen actor Amruta Khanvilkar started 2017, she just had two things on her mind. One was to get in the best of health and the second was to get ahead of her fashion game. Now, with the year ending, the Katyar Kaljat Ghusali (2015) actor is happy that she has been able to maintain a fit and healthy body and flaunt her fashionable side too. “This year was all about working and the next year will have me reap all the benefits. I had a horrible year when it came to my health in 2015-2016, so I had decided to stay away from allopathy and get into natural ways of healing. I started out with yoga and it worked wonders for me,” says the actor, who will be seen with Alia Bhatt in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi.

The actor is also keen on doing more Marathi films now on. “The films that are being made nowadays are exceptional and I would love to be a part of it. I want to do a Marathi film that says Amruta ‘in and as’. There ar plans, so hopefully things wi pan out. It is great to see fello actors do some brilliant film especially Priya [Bapat] and Sonali tai [Kulkarni],” she says.

She adds that this year al fulfilled her wish of workin with Meghna and she feels lucky to have had the chan to work under a female director. She says, “Raazi j fell into my lap and it was meant to happen. It was around the same time whe started yoga and cleansing mind and body. I had start take a positive approach a am glad I did.”

2018 will also mark Amruta’s debut in the web world. She will be seen playing a Christian divor in the untitled show. “I ha shot for it for two months it is a completely new ava of me. All I can tell you ab the role is that it is the st of a serial killer,” she say
