GLAMOUR, MUSIC & FINALE
T he second and final day of Amiphoria-2018 witnessed the most anticipated event, The Amity Designer Awards 2018 that saw students of various fashion institutes including Amity School of Fashion Technology Lucknow showcasing their creative abilities as budding fashion designers.
Satyadev Pachauri, minister Khadi and Gramodhyog was chief guest at the fashion show while the guest of honour for the occasion was minister Mohsin Raza.
On this occasion director ASFT, Pooja Verma, director academics, Suneel Dhaneshwar along with all the heads of the institutions and their students were present.
Chief guest of the prize distribution programme was the famous Thumari singer Suneeta Jhingaran who distributed the prizes to winners. During three days various departments of the Lucknow Campus organised more than 50 competitions in which Indradhanush, open mic, ektaan, LMRC mural design competition, youth parliament, mime, antakshari, cosmic guardian, photo venture, go global, blue wheel challenge, play the clay, nature treasure, Uff Ye BS were appreciated by the students.
A glamorous and musical evening was also held on the campus and the major attraction was the finale of the “Mere Pass CINE-MA Hai” performance. This dance presentation was based on 100 years of Indian Cinema by the all time hit songs and dialogues of a few memorable movies. The dance performances took

the Amiphoria fever to the extreme. The event was organized by Amity School of Communication. It was a much fun to see the newest talents on the stage with various colours of dance performance. A large number of Student were enjoyed and be a part of performance by their dance steps.
The fest mood and enthusiasm was enjoyed by the every one.
More than 5500 students of Amity along with faculty and staff participated in fifty plus events conducted by various departments. Hindustan Times was the media partner of the fest this year.
