Women take the driving seat!

AFever Car Rally was held in the state capital that was based on the theme of women empowerment. Organised by Fever FM, the rally was organised exclusively organised for female car drivers.

The special guests on the occasion were minister Swati Singh, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, Shailesh Kumar Singh Shailu, MLA, along with and national-level athletes Kavita Yadav and Vijay Laxmi. Swati Singh flag off the rally.

The car rally was flagged off at 1090 Women Helpline Chauraha by Swati Singh. The rally headed to different halts which included Sheroes Hangout, Shaheedpath and finally concluded Azea Botanica. Around 90 female drivers participated at the 22 km long rally. On different halts refreshments were provided to participants.

Various events were held at the venue. The Fever Café was an unplugged music event along with poetry. Acid attack survivors shared members of their stories and were gratified by Saptrang Masale. Winners of different contest and best slogan on women empowerment were honoured by Tata Motors, Novotel, LIC HFL and National Insurance. Artist from Zeeshan Dance Academy performed on various songs.
