Women take the driv­ing seat!

AFever Car Rally was held in the state cap­i­tal that was based on the theme of women em­pow­er­ment. Or­gan­ised by Fever FM, the rally was or­gan­ised ex­clu­sively or­gan­ised for fe­male car driv­ers.

The spe­cial guests on the oc­ca­sion were min­is­ter Swati Singh, Mayor Sanyukta Bha­tia, Shailesh Ku­mar Singh Shailu, MLA, along with and na­tional-level ath­letes Kavita Ya­dav and Vi­jay Laxmi. Swati Singh flag off the rally.

The car rally was flagged off at 1090 Women Helpline Chau­raha by Swati Singh. The rally headed to dif­fer­ent halts which in­cluded Sheroes Hang­out, Sha­heed­path and fi­nally con­cluded Azea Botan­ica. Around 90 fe­male driv­ers par­tic­i­pated at the 22 km long rally. On dif­fer­ent halts re­fresh­ments were pro­vided to par­tic­i­pants.

Var­i­ous events were held at the venue. The Fever Café was an un­plugged mu­sic event along with po­etry. Acid at­tack sur­vivors shared mem­bers of their sto­ries and were grat­i­fied by Sap­trang Masale. Win­ners of dif­fer­ent con­test and best slo­gan on women em­pow­er­ment were hon­oured by Tata Mo­tors, Novo­tel, LIC HFL and Na­tional In­surance. Artist from Zee­shan Dance Academy per­formed on var­i­ous songs.
