ACHIEVERS OF CONSEQUENCE!
Connect Lucknow organized a special evening to felicitate the ‘Achievers of Consequence’ at a city hotel on Sunday. Those felicitated on the occasion were historian and author Ravi Bhatt, Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation managing director Kumar Keshav and Dr Ashok Jahnavi Prasad, one of the ten most qualified persons on the planet .
The evening opened with a welcome address by CL president Chander Prakash, followed by a discussion with Ravi Bhatt on his upcoming book ‘Lucknow of Nawab’s and Begum’s’. Pooja Sharma was in conversation with him. The book will be released next month.
Padma Shri Dr Mansoor Hasan then had a conversation with Kumar Keshav on building Lucknow metro in record time.
It was followed by introduction of Dr Prasad. In discussion with him was Connect Lucknow executive vice president Sharat Pradhan.
Dr Prasad said that due to excessive use of antibiotics our immunity system is becoming weak. He said most patients on one hand request doctors to prescribe them antibiotics and on the other hand blame doctors for doing so.
CL vice president Sunita Aron proposed a vote of thanks and suggested that on Independence Day Lucknowites should display flags all over the city to the extent that it goes in record books. She appealed all to come forward and volunteer for the cause. Let Lucknow create another history.
Many prominent Lucknowites were present on the occasion. A cocktail and dinner followed the event.
KNOW DR PRASAD
Dr Ashok Jahnavi Prasad is one of the ten most qualified persons on the planet and grandson of Dr Rajendra Prasad, first President of India. He discovered an illness that is named after him – Prasad’s Syndrome. He is also a qualified barrister with an LLM from Harvard and doctorates from Oxford, Cambridge and North Carolina. He has written 165 books on different topics and has worked in countries such as Seychelles, Chad, Togo, Somalia, Mali. His name is in the book “Top 1000 Scientists from the beginning of Time to 2000 AD.
