All set for a ‘popup’ show today!

Lifestyle shopping extravaganza, IKAAI is back in a bigger avatar. The ‘pop-up show’ will be held at Carlton Lawn on Sunday from 10 am to 11 pm. Conceptualised by designer and entrepreneur Roma Agarwal and Ayushi Agarwal, the event will have fashion, music, food, kids zone and organic-products market.

“We have made the show bigger and better this year. On the style of Mumbai and Bangalore, we have organised a pop-up show which will have shopping, food and fun activity under one roof. Besides designer fashion wear, it will have a range of food stalls, farmer market for organic-products and music-cumactivity area for children,” says Agarwal.

The highlight of the show will be designer Mansi Mehrotra, Jayanti Goenka, bags by Karishma Shah, 43188 by Shweta Kapoor, Bandini work directly from Kutch Weaver, Banarasi sarees by Kaasi, beautiful handcrafted chikan work by Bhairvi’s Chikan and AK Shah from Kashmir bringing fine pashmina shawls and stoles.

Designers like Ritu Kumar, Divya Jain, Abhijeet Khanna, fashion labels like ‘Roma’ by Roma Agarwal, Kasaya, Skirt & Co, Kanelle and designer brands like Gush and Silverati are participating. For a social service cause, they are also providing stalls to some NGOs to make the most of it, said Ayushi.

This year’s event will have entertainment, food and an exclusive food zone. “We will also have live music by Harshit Mishra, Sufi night with Kaushi Diwakar-Anurag and Rock band by Rikky Singh,” adds Agarwal.
