ADDING HUMOUR TO FESTIVITIES

IIT Roorkee Alumni Association Lucknow Chapter organised a Hasya Kavi Sammelan to celebrate Holi festivities.

Renowned poets Ashok Chakradhar, Arun Gemini, Sarvesh Asthana and Mukul Mahan stole the hearts of the Alumini members with their poems. Cultural Secretary Meena Agarwal welcomed the guests and association’s secretary Anuj Varshneya introduced the poets. Rajiv Agarwal felicitated the guest poets with mementos and saplings.

Ashok Chakradhar with his excellent satirical poetry commented on contemporary times. By his mesmerising style of oration, he received multiple rounds of applauses. Arun Jemini entertained the audience with his hilarious poetry in Haryanavi dialect. Gopal Sinha delivered the vote of thanks.
