Students display talent at Techiesta

Modern Girls College of Profession­al Studies (MGCPS) organised ‘The Modern Techiesta’, an inter college tech event, on its campus in Gomti Nagar on Saturday.

Various universiti­es and colleges of Lucknow including Lucknow University (LU), National PG College (NPGC), BBD University (BBDU), Goel Institute of Higher Studies (GIHS), Lucknow Public College of Profession­al Studies (LPCPS), Amity University and others participat­ed in the event which provided a unique opportunit­y for students to demonstrat­e and exhibit their talent and technical expertise.

The event comprised of 4 contests: Tech Quiz, Project War, Blind Coding and Web Designing.

The Tech Quiz was won by Ayush Agarwal and Vishesh Chawrasiya of NPGC, first runners-up were Raj and Shreyansh Srivastava of NPGC and second runners-up were Saksham Gupta and Kaushiki Pandey of LU.

In the Project War, Anjali Kanaujia and Vanshita Gupta of MGCPS were decalred the winners. The first runners-up were Alkesh Singh and Vishnu Rastogi of NPGC and the second runners-up was Priyanshi Srivastava of MGCPS.

The Blind Coding was won by Naman Saxena of NPGC, Harshita Bajaj from MGCPS was first runner-up and Tejaswa Dayal of LPCPS was second runner-up.

In the Web Designing contest, Vanshita Gupta of MGCPS stood first, Anchal Srivastava of MGCPS was second, and Alkesh Singh of NPGC was third.

The judges’ panel included acclaimed dignitarie­s like Dr Puneet Misra, assistant professor, Department of Computer Science at LU, Dr Shalini Lamba of NPGC, Aman Verma, NET administra­tor at HCL Lucknow and Sanjeev Kumar Mishra, technical trainer at HCL Lucknow.
