Bachchan showers praise on Irrfan’s upcoming film

Aspecial screening of Irrfan’s upcoming film, Blackmail, was held for his Piku co-star, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. After watching the film, Bachchan applauded it generously on social media. The actor tweeted, “Saw a delightful film today .. “BLACKMAIL” ..https://youtu.be/TDF1qdUtbzw .. a brilliant screenplay, unique story, exemplary performances and great presentation and editing .. Actors excel from Irfan Khan to some fresh new faces.. so happy to see such creativity .. !!”

The film’s producers — Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and RDP Motion Pictures’ Abhinay Deo, who has also directed the project, hosted the special screening for Bachchan on behalf of Irrfan, who is currently away for treatment.

Any kind of appreciation is great for a movie, and Bachchan’s praise for Blackmail is like a pat on the back for everyone involved with it. Earlier, Irrfan had expressed his wish to get the best possible release for his new film; hence, despite the actor’s absence from the promotions or screenings, the makers have decided to release the film as scheduled, which is this Friday.

Blackmail has received immense appreciation ever since the release of its teaser. Even the hilarious trailer of film, which asks a question “What will you do if you find your wife in bed with someone else?”, has piqued the interest of the audience.

Besides Irrfan, the madcap comedy stars Kirti Kulhari, Divya Dutta, Arunoday Singh, Omi Vaidya, Anuja Sathe, Pradhuman Singh Mall and Gajraj Rao.
