At a time when social media is the order of the day, have you ever thought about joining the bandwagon?

-

Not really! I am anyway in direct touch with my fans when I am the part of a film’s marketing. I am out there with them. People say, ‘oh, Rani will vanish after the marketing [of a film], but that [doing a film’s marketing] is my job. It’s my duty that I should first act in a film and then come out for the promotions of that film. I don’t think people should care about what I do after that. How does it matter? It is not really important. It is important for me to not get too involved with the love and respect that I get. The reason being: if it is taken away from you, your mental state might take a hit.
