Cotton is thus the ideal choice for comfort. So, what does this long-lasting fabric have to offer? “Cotton fabrics are breathable, absorbent, tough and hence long-lasting. They are easier to wash and care for, hence cutting down time and money spent on maintenance of the garments,” says fashion designer Kunal Anil Tanna, adding, “Lightweight cotton shirts in pastel and sombre shades would be perfect for the summer. For a more formal look, swap the heavy suits with light blazers.”
