Celebrities join protests against recent rape cases

Bollywood celebrities and common people came together on Sunday in Mumbai to protest against the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua, and the abduction and rape of a teenage girl in Unnao. Similar protests were also staged in Delhi. Spotted at the peaceful protest in Mumbai was actor Rajkummar Rao, with his girlfriend, actor Patralekhaa, actor-author Twinkle Khanna, singer Vishal Dadlani, filmmaker Kiran Rao, Aditi Rao Hydari, and more. They carried banners in solidarity with the victims, demanding justice for them. Sameera Reddy and Vidya Malwade, too, joined the protest.
