What goes on in the Chopra cousins’ WhatsApp group
The Chopra cousins — Priyanka, Parineeti, and Mannara — have busy lives, with their careers and globetrotting activities keeping them tied up. However, there is one place that keeps them connected with each other — their WhatsApp group.
Mannara dishes out how all 14 cousins, who live in different cities and continents, do not fail to share details of their everyday life on the group.
“We are extremely closeknit. We keep in touch with each other all the time. We cousins, we are 14 of us, and we have this cousins’ group called ‘The Chopras’. We know what’s happening in each other’s lives. It is mandatory for us to share pictures from wherever we are. Some of us are constantly travelling, so, we also share pictures from our trips,” Mannara says.
She followed her cousins Priyanka and Parineeti into showbiz, starting her career with modelling and TV commercials. She also shared screen with Priyanka in a TV commercial at that time.
Mannara, who made her Bollywood debut with Zid in 2014, says she is grateful to the former Miss World for guiding her during the initial days of her career.
“When I did my first film, I had no idea about facing the camera, PR machinery, and that you have to dress up for a red carpet event. I didn’t know that you have to hire people to look nice. She (Priyanka) helped me immensely. Now, I’ve taken off from there and am doing my own stuff. I’m getting a lot of experience myself,” she asserts.
She later moved down south and starred in Telegu and Kannada films. However, Mannara assures that there is an interesting Hindi film which has come her way and she will be announcing it soon.
“I have done about five films in three years. There are three more films, this year, which I am doing in the southern film industry. I also have a Hindi film in my kitty, which will be announced soon. I am keeping myself busy and happy.”
