In search of women of substance

For the first time, Mrs. India beauty pageant has come out of metropolitan cities and is conducting auditions at Lucknow. The extravaganza-Mrs. India – She is India 2018 is being organised by i-Glam – a name associated with fashion, modelling and pageants.

The contest is inviting participants from across UP and the organisers feel that it should be a matter of pride for entire Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow, Aashish K Jha, director of state franchisee said, “This for the first time that such a prestigious event is happening where. Mrs. India -She is India is the official gateway to Mrs. Universe 2018 and the winning contestants will get straight entry to the Mrs. India Universe Grand Finale event happening in New Delhi in the month of July. The winner will truly represent India at a big level as it is less about women of glamour and more about women of substance. We have huge expectations from Uttar Pradesh. And the idea to bring it UP was that it is difficult for the married women here to leave their homes and travel long distances in order to give auditions at Delhi or Mumbai so when the auditions will be in Lucknow it will surely be a huge relief and boost to the morale of the interested participants of Mrs. India..” Mrs. Universe Intelligence Crown Winner 2015 Richa Singh, Mrs. India Fitness Crown Winner 2016 Varsha Upadhyay along with others will be on the jury panel.

The event is taking place on Friday the June 15, 2018 at Hotel Hyatt Regency, Gomti Nagar and the auditions will be conducted in four slots from 10 am to 6 pm for primary auditions and 6 pm to 10 pm for the final 20.
