- Anjali Shetty anjali.shetty@htlive.com

Which is the one breakfast food that you must have?

It has to be egg whites.

One fattening food item that you just can’t resist?

A plate of hot gulab jamun with cold vanilla ice cream. I just can’t avoid this dessert.

How do you get back in shape post a fattening indulgence?

After a cheat meal or indulgence, I try to compensate by hitting the gym.

Do you prefer mini meals?

I feel that mini meals are more efficient as they keep you satiated for longer periods. Sprouts, steamed veggies or maybe a handful of nuts are my go-to mini meals.

A diet plan that always works for you.

I like to keep things simple. I don’t believe in crazy fad diets. I have a heavy breakfast, which keeps me going. My last meal of the day is by 7.30pm, and is restricted to carbs.

What are the benefits of the sport you play?

Hockey helps to keep my body fit and my mind healthy. It has taught me everything that I could possibly need in life.

Do you prefer outdoor or indoor physical activity?

The outdoors are always more fun. The fresh air makes me happy.

Which are your favourite physical activities?

Hockey doesn’t give me much free time to indulge in physical activities. But, I love going for long treks.
