‘I’m excited to be in Lucknow yet again...’

Actor Sehban Azim is a happy man. With his hands full, the Bepannahfame actor was in the city promoting his new show.

“Yes, I’m very lucky that before my part wrapped up in my earlier show, I got a new role in a new show. I’m actually on a roll! I have also wrapped up the shoot for short film Soulmates with actor Adah Sharma. So, I’m enjoying the phase and also working hard to continue getting good work,” he tells HT City on his visit to Lucknow.

The young actor from Delhi is essaying the role of a cop in the daily soap Tujhse Hai Raabta that got on air on Zee TV recently.

Talking about the show, he says, “The story is based on a very beautiful and intriguing concept of relationships. I am extremely excited to be a part of it. I play Malhaar Rane, a cop, who is all about sincerity and integrity. He also has a very affable and endearing personality. This is for the second time that I am essaying a role of cop on screen and I am enjoying every bit of it.”

Talking about his visit to Lucknow, he says, “As always, I’m excited to be in the city of Nawabs yet again. I’m really looking forward to eating kebabs and indulging in specialty Awadhi food. Last time, when I was here, I got some food packed from here and it was a delight for my family and friends. Comparing with the chaotic traffic of Mumbai and Delhi, the traffic in the city is very controlled.”

The show also includes actors like Poorva Gokhale, Amrapali Gupta, Reem Shaikh, Shagun Pandey, Pankaj Vishnu, Savita Prabhune and others in pivotal roles.
