Kickstart the planets which matter

-

Aplanet is considered strong when it is in a state of exaltation or if it is in its sign. If it is placed in its friendlier sign, it is still termed nicely placed to give positive results. Similarly, it is considered weak if it is in a state of debilitation or if placed in an enemy sign. Applying this classical theory verbatim will mean only a few good yielding planetary positions, whereas many other planetary positions would be ordinary or negative. But the horoscope is not read simply as dictated in the classical texts. I have seen the horoscopes of people who have risen to significant heights, who have a very simple or not a very imposing type of planetary setting in their horoscope. Similarly I have seen those horoscopes which have the planets strong and well placed, but the result is not there. And a similar tale can be seen repeating itself when it comes to remedial astrology. People blindly indulge themselves in to mindless rituals to appease certain planets by just following rituals for the debilitated or negatively placed planets. Corruptly reading a horoscope and suggesting gemstones/ rituals of debilitated planets is nothing but a ruthless murder of the essence of astrology through which no one gains, neither the sufferer nor the horoscope reader. The behaviour of a planet is not just governed by the state it is in but also from its relative position to other planets in the horoscope, its place in the divisional charts, its asterism, the work that has been assigned to it and the periods with transits. It clearly means that a stronger looking planet could be in a state of misery whereas a weaker one could triumph. Consider a batch of students who graduated 25 years ago, evaluate the brighter ones, and the dull ones of that time; you could witness a complete turnaround in their fortunes by now. I do not say that the brighter ones would have failed, but what I mean to say is that the heights that their grandeur promised were not reached, whereas those who were not expected to shine did. Same is the story of planets — those who are expectant to give results actually never blossom and the one which are carelessly neglected bloom. The festive season comes to rake the suppressed planets to impart positivity. These festivals invoke the positivity of Rahu and Ketu, which are catalysts that can aggravate the results. Let us not let this season of plenty pass and let us also not indulge in mindless rituals that can pull one back.
