Being an actor isn’t an easy job. Round-the-clock schedules, coupled with other commitments don’t leave actors with any time for themselves. But, actor-model Aditi Govitrikar, who is also a psychologist and medical doctor, has managed it quite well. She is now pursuing her Masters in Psychology from the Harvard University.

She shares, “I always wanted to go back and finish my post graduation... Given that my studies were going well, I thought I should take it to the next level, at Harvard, if I could. Luckily for me, they offered the programme that I was looking for, which means I can do almost 80% of the programme from here (India), by attending the live lectures online.

The best part for me is that it lets me do both — work in India and study with the best, simultaneously.”

While one assumes that it must be difficult to walk away from work commitments,

The clash between Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala and Sunny Singhstarrer, Ujda Chaman, has now been averted. The latter will now release on November 1. It was earlier scheduled to release a day after Bala on November 8. The premise of both films is about premature balding. The poster of Ujda Chaman has a new tagline, which reads, ‘Takle ki pahli aur asli film’. —HTC

Aditi is quick to add that she can’t ever leave showbiz. “I’m very much a part of it and will continue to do so. I love being on shoots, being in front of the camera, and portraying different characters. In fact, I just finished shooting for a web series called Grey Stories with Kiku Sharda. It’s still in the works for now, and so are my studies!” adds the 43-yearold, who has been seen in films such as De Dana Dan (2009) and Bheja Fry 2 (2011).

It’s been a while since Aditi was seen in mainstream Bollywood projects, with Hum Tum Shabana (2011) being her last outing. When asked what made her stay away all this while, she quips she didn’t go anywhere: “I shot for a film in 2016 but unfortunately it didn’t release theatrically. My most recent role was in Smile Please, a Marathi film directed by Vikram Phadnis. Earlier in the year, I also did a web film called 377 Ab Normal. As far as the Bollywood or web content go, I am looking forward to being part of more of them.”

Actor Tiger Shroff wouldn’t mind picking up the microphone and singing a song as he wants to be a “complete performer” like Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. The Heropanti (2014) actor is one of the successful action heroes of Bollywood. Though, he does manage to slip in a few music videos despite having a busy Bollywood career.

Tiger, who has featured in music videos such as Zindagi aa raha hoon main and Befikra, said, “Music videos are a nice breather. They are a little shorter. Music videos are short films in a way. I like how in a short time, you can express your vision.”

Does he plan to do something in the music space? “Yes. I am a huge fan of stars like (late singer) Michael Jackson and Bruno Mars. I like that they are complete performers. They sing and dance. I’d like to do that as well someday,” said the Student Of The Year 2 actor.
