AAYUSH IS SPENDING QUALITY TIME WITH NATURE

The self-quarantine period amid the Covid-19 pandemic has turned out to be a beautiful retreat for Tinaa Dattaa. The actor had travelled to Goa much before the lockdown began, to learn yoga from her teacher Brent Goble, and is stuck there ever since.

She, along with Goble’s wife and actor Aashka Goradia, are making the most of this time by learning new asanas, baking cakes, making new dishes, and doing photography.

Dattaa tells us, “I wanted to learn yoga for a long time and I’m finally pursuing it with Brent, who makes it so much fun and explains the significance of every asana.”

While she posts some beautiful pictures from Goa on social media, the 33-year-old admits that she’s conscious about not overdoing it like others who are readily sharing videos of cleaning, cooking, washing, and other household chores.

“I do these things everyday, but I’ll never make a post about it. I find it extremely wannabe to do such things. People just want to create content in order to be seen,” she says.

With the rise in social media engagement, the trolls have also become more active. The actor adds, ”I land up blocking at least 40-50 accounts on a daily basis. These people are frustrated and should get a better hold of their lives.”

On the work front, the actor was supposed to start shooting for a Bengali web series and some commercials which are all on hold. “I’m craving to go to the sets and I’m missing my home in Mumbai,” Dattaa says.

Aayush Sharma is currently stationed in Arpita Farms in Panvel along with his family and in-laws, including Salman Khan. Away from the hustle, he’s happy to be spending some “fruitful” time with his children, Ahil and Ayat. “This year, Ahil, 4, was supposed to start his proper schooling but due to the pandemic, it’s not happening. I’m taking this time to teach him whatever I can. It’s a good way of bonding with him,” he says, adding, “With Ayat, it’s all about trying to make her laugh. She’s four months old, and I spend a lot of time trying to get her attention.” Sharma says that he’s being able to enjoy Mother Nature up, close and personal now. “Around the farmhouse, there are leopards and eight kinds of snakes. Due to the hot climate, the animals come to the lake which is next to the property. It’s quite interesting because I love wildlife,” he says. The actor adds he has taken to photography, too. “For years, I wanted to do a photography course. Now, I’m getting to do so,” he says.

So what has been his biggest learning from this health crisis? “Once in a while, it’s good to stop and reboot. It’s making me realise that in life, we are dependent on people for so many things. For me, things will be different post the lockdown. I have learned self-reliance and I’m enjoying it,” he signs off.
