All about zest and ‘Zeal’
The second phase of IILM Academy of Higher Learning’s Annual Fest- Zeal 2022 was all about sports, academics, cultural and other fun events. A total of 43 graduate and post graduate colleges from across Lucknow participated in the two-day affair held on the premises of the institute. Events like Forms of Art, Turncoat, Intrapreneur, InQUIZitive, Open Mic, The Singing Sensation, Fashionist, Word Worth, Markethon, Street Play, The Dancing Fever and more were rolled out on the first day. The contests were judged by an independent, external panel of judges from industry and academia.
Earlier, director of the institute Dr Naela Rushdi and dean Dr Sheetal Sharma inaugurated the fest.
Talking on the occasion Dr Rushdi said, “We are happy that Zeal is back and our campus is once again lively after a long lull due to pandemic. Every participant performed with enthusiasm and much spirit at the fest. Our guests enjoyed being part of the fest and cheered the participants with full energy. Students demonstrated various aspects of society with their presentations and compelled us all to retrospect life. The competitive events bought the different colours of Indian culture to the fore.” On the final day the special guest Sanjay Singh along the director distributed the prizes to all the winners. They congratulated all the participants on their remarkable performance and congratulated all participating college as well as staff and students for their extraordinary efforts. The result of all competitive events was declared during the prize distribution ceremony held on the final day. Winners included Saumya, Shivangi from IILM, Harshita, Manish from BBD along with others.
