Atalk session was recently held at a city based club. The topic for the session was 2022- A New Era. The talk was addressed by four live speakers all coming from different walks of life.
The first one to address the gathering was prominent film maker Padma Shri Muzaffar Ali who emphasised on cinema being the most meaningful and purposeful form of art.
Followed by principal of La Martiniere College, Carlyle Andre McFarland addressed numerous issues related to parenting and how we must not encourage our children to get into the rat race.
He further said, “Children are not trophies to be flaunted but individuals to be developed and trained so they can be nurturing members of the society.”
Entrepreneur and author Vivek Mansingh spoke on ‘What does it take to become the best version of yourself to achieve phenomenal success?’
Last one to join the dias was Dhruv Verma, a business head who shared his life journey and how he transformed scars into stars. He described the risks he took and how entrepreneurs must recognise the ‘Pulse within the Impulse’.
The third edition of TEDx Lucknow session was attended by a number of distinguished and diverse groups of people including doctors, scientists, professors, innovators, influencers, literati and glitterati of our city.
The guests stayed on till late in the evening –interacting with speakers, exchanging ideas and views and enjoying the live music.
Those present on the occasion were senior bureaucrat Navneet Sehgal, his wife Vandana Sehgal, Dr Sandeep Kapoor, Ravi Kapoor, Chander Prakash, Manav Prakash, Jyoti Dewan, Gaurav, Upma Chaturvedi, Atul Chaturvedi and many others.
