BE PREPARED TO STEP OUT WITH THESE WEATHER APPS

Keeping track of updates related to daily temperature and climatic conditions can get tedious, but certain real-time weather apps can make this seamless

-

Keeping track of the daily weather is no cakewalk. But, thanks to smartphones and weather apps available today, being aware of climatic conditions is far easier. India’s north and central regions are gripped by heat waves at present, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing alerts for Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Recently, Delhi witnessed a record temperature of over 49 degrees Celsius, making it difficult to venture out. As north India battles rising mercury, parts of Kerala, Lakshadweep islands, Assam and Meghalaya are witnessing heavy rainfall. Further, dust storms have been predicted over the areas of dry weather, such as Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Punjab and Rajasthan.

With so much going on, it is important for those who venture out on a daily basis or travel frequently to be aware of the weather condition. One need not step out unprepared, get caught in a dust storm or heavy downpour. We suggest you make space for a decent real-time weather app on your smartphone, in case you have not already.

While there are many mobile applications that can be installed and used to check the temperature in different cities and states on a daily basis, we have listed the top six apps for you to consider. You can look them up to see which one matches your requirements.
