For the last three years, Pankaj Tripathi has been juggling several projects. While the actor is content with the kind of work he is doing, he has started relating himself to the proverb — Excess of everything is bad. Since 2020, Tripathi has had over 10 releases across OTT and the big screen, and has 10 new projects coming up.

“Luckily, I am getting to do different kinds of projects. The audience will see me in a new light with each project. So, I am not scared of repeating myself,” says Tripathi. He adds, “But yes, I do fear being overexposed. I also feel the number of projects that I am associated with is huge and it does come with its share of load.”

The 46-year-old admits that he has started feeling the need to take things easy. “I have become very selective about picking projects now, but despite being choosy, the workload is heavy. I have decided that this year, I will do fewer projects and will do them at my own pace. Also, I plan to take a three-month break at the end of the year aur uske baad main aur selective ho jaunga,” the Mirzapur actor tells us.

that Tripathi is among the top OTT actors in the country. “The love and appreciation of the audience gives me the motivation to do better work and not let them down,” he says, adding that “the top spot can also be intimidating”.

The Criminal Justice actor admits that every achievement comes with added responsibility. “There’s a responsibility to do better work. The only pressure [I take] is to ensure that I keep working aur aaram se mujhe aath ghante ki neend bhi mile,” the (2021) actor ends.
