Nawaz breaks silence on allegations: My kids have been made hostage
Amid allegations of Nawazuddin Siddiqui having thrown his estranged wife Aaliya out of the house and abandoning their children, the actor has finally broken his silence on the whole controversy. In a lengthy note posted on Instagram, Siddiqui said he had become the “bad guy” as he chose to remain silent for his kids’ sake, and how a bunch of people are “enjoying” his “character assassination on the basis of one sided and manipulated videos.”
Stating that he and Aaliya are “already divorced”, he said: “Does anyone know why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, wherein the school is sending me letters everyday that it’s been too long an absence? My kids have been made hostage for the past 45 days and are missing school in Dubai.”
Shedding light on the financial allegations Aaliya made, the actor added, “She abandoned the kids in Dubai for four months before calling them here on the pretext of demanding money. On an average, she is being paid approx ₹10 lakh per month for the past two years and ₹5-7 lakh per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding school fees, medical, travel and other leisure activities.”
Siddiqui’s estranged wife even claimed that their kids are denied entry to the actor’s new house in Mumbai. To this, he said, “Whenever my children came to India during their vacation, they used to stay with their grandmother. How could anyone throw them out of the house? I myself was not home during that time. Why didn’t
she (Aaliya) make a video of being thrown out, whereas she makes a video of every random thing? She’s dragged the kids into this drama and is doing all this to simply blackmail me, malign my reputation, spoil my career and fulfil her illegitimate demands.”
He wrote in conclusion, “I love Shora and Yani and I will go to any extent to secure their well-being and future. I have won all the cases so far and will continue to place my faith in the judiciary.”
