LUCKNOW: The chief judicial magistrate on Saturday ordered seven- day police remand of the two rickshaw-pullers arrested in connection with the sensational gangrape and murder of a Class 12 student of a prominent city sc hool.

Rickshaw-pullers Satguru and Deepu, prime suspects in the murder, were arrested on February 14 on charges of concealing facts, not informing cops about the crime, tampering with evidence and having sex with the corpse. They were sent to jail on February 17.

Cops, however, are yet to get court’s approval for narco analysis and polygraph test of the two.

Two caddies of Golf Club, Michael and Naseer, who were also aware of the body lying on the spot, were taken into custody for questioning on February 16.

Now, cops are planning to interrogate all four, the two rickshaw-pullers and the two caddies, together.

“All four of them will be interrogated together. This will help in unraveling the murder mystery,” said a senior cop.

The girl went missing after she left her house in Jankipuram for her school in Vikas Nagar on a bicycle on the morning of February 10. However, she did not go to school and CCTV footage suggested that she reached near Golf Club on bicycle.

Parents of the victim then lodged an FIR with the Jankipuram police.

The location of the girl’s cell phone was traced on February 13 to Haidergarh, the native place of Satguru. Cops recovered the cell phone from Satguru’s mother.

Thereafter, the two rickshawpullers were tracked down on February 14 in Lucknow. Later, the girl’s body was recovered on their revelations from behind the Lucknow zoo on Park Road.

During investigation, it came to light that both the rickshawpullers and the two caddies also had sex with the corpse after consuming marijuana. Several medical tests of all the four have already been carried out at the state forensic lab.
