After spending his childhood days in Bareilly, Rahul was sent to Nainital and enrolled at the Sherwood College there. After completing his school education, Rahul returned to Bareilly and joined the BSc course at Bareilly College. “Rahul was one of the most hardworking pupils of my class who showed genuine interest in whatever he did,” said Dr SP Singh, former HOD of botany department at Bareilly College. “One of the things which differentiated him from other students was his determination to improve,” he added.
