Madhyanchal MD gets a taste of LESA working

MD Madhyanchal SP Pandey got a taste of LESA working culture on Wednesday when Mehmood Ali, father of group captain MI Ali of the Indian Air Force met him during his interaction session at Hussainganj LESA control room.

Mehmood Ali told the MD that his son, who was stationed at a sensitive air force station, had purchased a house in Vrindavan Colony .

On July 30 , 2011 he applied for a power connection but as he was posted outside, the connection was never released , nor was the meter fixed. But one day a bill of R 38,000 was slapped on the group captain despite the fact there was no power connection in his house.

Since then, his father has been running from one official to other to sort out the issue .An angry Ali said, “My son is posted at the frontier but here we are harassed like this. Whenever he comes to Lucknow, all his time is spent in running from pillar to post to get the matter resolved.”

The MD Madhyanchal was livid at the wrong billing by LESA staff and called for a complete report within three days, failing which he threatened

strict action against the guilty engineers.

Similarly, Mahesh Kumar, a government employee, was allotted a flat in OCR building but he was shocked to see the pending dues of R 85,000 on his flat allotted by estate department.

Earlier, an MLA lived in the flat and didn’t pay the bill when he left.

Following this, MD Madhyanchal has directed the engineers to write to the estate officer for seeking NoC of LESA before allotting the flat to any new person or else the bill would continue to be raised.

In all, 9 people met MD Madhyanchal in his first public interaction and all of them were assured of proper action within a week.
