Focus on quality edu for primary school children
LUCKNOW: A day-long workshop - Ankuram - was organised by I Care India in association with UP government and Lucknow University on Friday. Under the Ankuram campaign, I care has adopted 100 primary schools of the city to provide them with quality education and a better future.
DM Raj Shekhar was the chief guest at the event. He appreciated the efforts put in by I Care in the last one year for improving the infrastructure, and education standard at primary schools, and for helping children in personality development. “People with positive approach towards this campaign will be rewarded and those who act as obstruction will be punished,” said Raj Shekhar. CDO, Prashant Sharma said, “Resource mobilisation is not enough to bring about a change. Proper supervision is also required for the transformation of these schools.” Later, two village heads and a primary school in-charge thanked I Care and the DM for supervising the campaign. An interaction between teachers of primary schools and interns chosen by I Care India for this campaign was also held. Chairman I Care, Anoop Gupta and DPRO Uma Shankar Mishra were also present at the workshop.
