Mayank Tiwari new NSUI UP central chief

The Congress’ student wing National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has elected Mayank Tiwari as the new president of its central zone.

NSUI UP central zone returning officer Kiran Mugabasav confirmed the election of Tiwari who belongs to Etawah district.

The post of NSUI UP central zone had fallen vacant following the disqualification of six office bearers, including UP central zone president Prashant Tiwari. He was elected president in the election held last month.

The NSUI had received complaints against the elected office bearers and an inquiry had later revealed that they were not regular students in any institution.
