BCCI may replace ombudsman

-

While speculation is rife over the BCCI likely to replace its ombudsman, retired Justice AP Shah, in the September 21 AGM since his one-year tenure is coming to an end, the New Delhi-based Shah pointed out that his term will end only in October. Talking to HT, Shah said: “It’s the BCCI’s decision whether to appoint someone else in my place. I have no control over their actions. However, my tenure was only for one-year which ends in October.” Former BCCI president Shashank Manohar, who is currently the ICC chairman, had appointed Justice Shah in the Board’s AGM in November 2015.
