Demanding stricter ‘punishment’ for Pakistan, family members of martyr Rajesh Singh said more action should follow to teach the neighbouring country a lesson.
Rajesh Singh was among 18 Indian soldiers killed in Uri terror attack on September 17, 2016. Singh was a resident of Bhakura village in Jaunpur district. “Action by the Indian Army was much needed. More action is required to teach a lesson to Pakistan,” said Singh’s father Rajendra Singh. He further said India should destroy all terror camps in Pakistanoccupied Kashmir (PoK).
The martyr’s wife Julie Singh said the Centre should immediately sever all ties with Pakistan. She added that Indus water should also not be given to it.
After Wednesday’s surgical strikes by India, a large number of people gathered at house of the martyr on Thursday.
“The Indian Army should take more massive action against Pakistan so that it couldn’t dare to commit any nefarious act in future,” she said. Kumar’s elder brother Upendra praised the move and suggested that the government should carry out more strikes to destroy terror camps in Pakistan.
In Ghazipur, many locals gathered at the house of martyr Harendra Yadav. His father Kedar Yadav said the Indian Army should carry out another massive strike.
In Dubahar village of Ballia, eight-year-old Preeti extended thanks to her ‘Fauji uncles’ for avenging the death of his father Rajesh Yadav. Yadav’s mother Somaria Devi and brother Vikesh praised the army.
