Gadkari launches road projects in Pilibhit

Union minister for road transport, highways and and shipping, Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone of the national highways which will connect Pilibhit to other parts of the state, at a function organised in Puranpur area of Pilibhit on Thursday.

These road projects which include the widening of a 38 kilometre road between PilibhitPuranpur and widening of 44 km road from Puranpur to Khutar are currently in a battered state.

The minister also gave the go ahead for construction of 107 km of road between, Khatima, Majhola, Pilibhit and Puranpur which will provide better connectivity within the district.
