FRIDAY INCIDENT

Violence rocked the LU campus on Friday, as protesting student leaders locked the main entrance gate and staged demonstration, demanding action against one Amrit Mishra and others for opening fire on hostellers. They pelted the cops with stones when the latter tried to get the locked gates opened. There was panic on the campus and police resorted to lathicharge to disperse nearly 200 protestors.
