Highway accident: Case lodged against 150 for road blockade

Jansath police have registered a case against 150 people for staging a road blockade and indulging in violence following a road accident on Saturday night.

Four people have been named in the FIR while others are unknown and the process of their identification is going on.

Sources said, at around 8pm on Saturday, when the Jansath police was on routine patrolling on Panipat Khateema highway, the cops saw one Shadaab, resident of village Behra Sadaat going on a bike with his mother Waarisa and grandmother Raheesa. Sources claimed, the cops signalled him to stop and when he refused to listen, they stuck a cane in the bike’ s wheel.
