Woman kills husband with paramour’s help

-

In a gruesome incident, a woman strangled her husband with the help of her paramour, disposed of the body in a septic tank constructed inside the house after chopping it into three pieces, and continued living there for over four months.

The woman, Madhu Saxena, 28, landed in police net on Sunday when the victim Shiva Saxena’s maternal uncle secretly investigated about her movement after his nephew’s mysterious disappearance and than lodged an FIR with Madiaon police station . The woman’s paramour, Neeraj Asthana is still at large.

Cops have recovered the victim’s decomposed body from the septic tank. The incident has been reported in crowded Hariom Nagar locality of Madiaon where Shiva Saxena, who worked at a cloth shop in Indira Nagar, was living with his wife Madhu Saxena after their marriage in 2013. The couple had no children.

“In due course of time, she developed intimacy with Shiva’s distant relative, Neeraj Asthana, who frequently visited the couple’s house. Shiva who was unaware of the increasing intimacy between his wife and Neeraj, kept himself engaged in work,” said Nagesh Kumar Mishra, inspector of Madiaon police station.

Mishra said the accused woman said once Shiva even questioned him about Neeraj’s frequent visits to his house in his absence. However, the woman managed to mislead him and said some people were trying to malign her image.

Once Shiva caught the duo red handed in a compromising position when he returned home unexpectedly. “Afraid of getting exposed, Madhu and Neeraj overpowered Shiva and strangulated him to death instantly. The duo later chopped his body into three parts and disposed them in the septic tank inside the house,” said the inspector.

He said the woman was not able recall the exact date of the murder, but it took place around 20 days before ‘Karwachauth’ on October 19, 2016. The victim’s uncle Janakram told the cops that Madhu had informed him about Shiva’s mysterious disappearance on October 10 and even stated that she had lodged an FIR of his disappearance.

He said he made efforts to search for Shiva but failed to trace him. He said he got suspicious when he came to know about Neeraj’s frequent visit to Madhu’s house after Shiva’s disappearance.

“I then started tracking the movement of Madhu and Neeraj and found something fishy. I was shocked when I came to know that no FIR of Shiva’s disappearance was lodged,” said Janakram. “I then registered an FIR of Shiva’s abduction with Madiaon policeon Saturday,” headded. He said Madhu revealed the shocking sequence of incident when police quizzed her rigorously.
