JAUNPUR: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav on Sunday accused the union ministers of spitting communal venom, while appealing the people to ensure the Samajwadi Party’s win in the assembly polls.

“The frustration level of opponent parties has increased. Their language has changed. The union ministers are spitting venom while addressing rallies and speeches. They are politicising the issue of caste and religion,” Dimple said while addressing a rally in Jaunpur.

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dimple said the former is doing ‘Mann Ki Baat’ for last three years which only includes discrimination and caste-religion.

“He (Prime Minister) is doing ‘Mann Ki Baat for last three years. His monthly radio address only includes discrimination, caste-religion, Diwali-Ramzan,” she said.

Echoing similar views, Akhilesh Yadav while addressing rally in Siddharthnagar on Saturday taunted Prime Minister Modi over his monthly radio address ‘Mann ki Baat’ and requested him to do bit of ‘Kaam ki Baat’.

Continuing his tirade against the opposition, Akhilesh said that Prime Minister Modi must have given gas stoves to needy but has also increased the cylinders price in last three years in his governance.

She once gave a new interpretation to ‘Kasab’ - the abbreviation coined by BJP chief Amit Shah.

“BJP says ‘Ka’ stands for Congress. Your Akhilesh bhaiyya says ‘Ka’ (in Hindi) stands for Computer, ‘Sa’ stands for smartphone, through which you can get all the information about the policies of the government and ‘B’ stands for ‘bachche’ (children),” she said at an election rally here amid loud applause.

The ruling Samajwadi Party has a scheme to distribute laptops to meritorious students and promised to give smartphones if it returns to power in the state.

Shah at a rally last week at Chauri Chaura in Gorakhpur had used the ‘KASAB’ acronym to describe ‘Ka’ for Congress, ‘Sa’ for SP and ‘B’ for BSP. Shah coined the acronym matching the name of terrorist Ajmal Kasab - one of the perpetrators of 26/11 Mumbai attack.
