TENSION IN BAREILLY AFTER MISCREANTS DESTROY MAZAR

BAREILLY : Tension gripped Baradari area of Bareilly after a mazar (shrine) there was damaged on Monday morning. Additional police force was deployed in the area and district administrative officials assured the Muslims of strict action against the culprits. A complaint was registered in the matter and the investigation is in progress, said cops. “The wall and the dome of the mazar near the cantonment boundary was destroyed by miscreants in the wee hours of Monday,” said Sameer Saurabh, superintendent of police, Bareilly . “A complaint has been registered at Baradari police station and a team has been formed to investigate the matter.”
