Social media storm: Twitter handle @Justice4Anurag
The mysterious death of Karnataka cadre IAS officer Anurag Tewari has also triggered outrage on social media .
A twitter handle @Justice4Anurag was created soon after his death with #justiceforanurag to seek CBI inquiry into the death of the 2007 batch IAS officer who was found dead in Lucknow on May 17, his birthday .
The profile of the account reads: Justice for an honest IAS officer loved by people for doing the right thing, CBI investigation required to let truth prevail!
There are nearly 170+ tweets from this account, mostly demanding CBI probe, as his well-wishers believe that Anurag was murdered because he was about to expose a big scam.
One Vinod Kumar Tomar requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to kindly look into the never ending issues of sincere IAS/IPS officers in Karnataka #JusticeForAnurag. Another tweet said CBI inquiry must be ordered to unravel the truth and bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice #PMOIndia.

Anurag was a people's man, he worked for them, his work in drought in Bidar averted a big crisis, read another tweet. Anup Pandey’s tweet said: He (Anurag) was about to disclose a scam. Pls sign the petition.
The Karnataka cadre IAS officer was found dead near the state guest house on Meera Bai Marg. A resident of Bahraich, Anurag,36, is survived by his parents and two elder brothers Alok and Mayank.
