Lucknow students confident ahead of results

LUCKNOW: Students of some of the leading schools in Lucknow are a confident lot ahead of the results for the 12th standard to be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) soon. “I believe destiny is in our hands and so is our board result. The time has come for the hard work to show,” said Katyayani Raghuvansh­i of Study Hall School.

Akanksha Singh and Utkrishti Katheriya of The Millennium School are confident to cross the 90% mark. Two others - Rushil Agarwal and Geetika are not tense at all about the results.

Geetika said she has put in her 100% and there is no reason for her to worry. Vatsal Jhunjhunwa­la of the same school said he was pleasantly anxious about the result. He insists he had done very well in his exams and has already got an admission in a foreign prestigiou­s university.

Students of The Lucknow Public Collegiate, Sharda Nagar are nervous. Rashmit Singh said, “Half the holidays have gone waiting for the results, hope rest half will go in celebratio­ns after the results.” Mohit Jain of LPC said, “My prayers have been more frequent now as I am anxiously awaiting my results.”

At St Anjani’s Public School, best friends Ujjawal Baudh and Indra Bhaskar of Class 12 Science stream have joined yoga classes together to maintain peace of mind. But some are nervous too, like Shagun Dixit and Ronak Prajapati are battling anxiety as both want to get into good colleges outside UP.
