Admn reviews Yoga Day preparations

LUCKNOW : On the behest of joint secretary, ministry of Ayush, Anurag Srivastava, the district administration organised a meeting to review the ongoing preparations for Yoga Day to be observed on June 21.

The joint secretary also directed the administration to make sure that the list of those from Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gayatri Sansthan, Art of Living, Patanjali and others who are attending the program should be prepared by May 25.

In the hour-long meeting, Srivastava also said that others who want to take part in the Yoga Day should approach the concerned organisations to get their names registered. Besides, he directed the organisations that are participating in the program to answer all the query seekers.

Besides, he also directed the district administration to ensure that all the possible arrangements at the venue that includes proper barricading, LED display, availability of drinking water, fool proof traffic management, cleaning and proper security arrangement to avoid any inconveniences to the participants.

In the meeting, divisional commissioner, Lucknow, Anil Garg and IG Range, Jai Narayan Singh were present including others.
